The Los Angeles County Twin Towers Correctional Facility will be Chris Brown’s home for the next month.

Today, a judge ordered for the 24-year-old entertainer to stay behind bars until April 23, the date when his criminal assault trial in Washington D.C. is scheduled to begin. The judge made the decision due to Brown’s “inability to stay out of trouble” during a brief court hearing, which the troubled star attended in a jail-issued orange jumpsuit.

Breezy was arrested and taken into custody for violating his probation after getting kicked out of rehab last week. According to People magazine, a report from the Malibu facility said he “repeatedly got out of line – initially disregarding a request for a drug test, standing close enough to a female client that their elbows and hands touched, and mocking the program during a ‘morning reflections’ session.” He also allegedly made a threat during a therapy session, telling the group, “I am good at using guns and knives.”

According to a statement from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, the troubled singer “is being held without bail at the Inmate Reception Center of the Los Angeles County jail in downtown Los Angeles. The warrant was issued related to assault with a deadly weapon and criminal threats crimes which occurred on February 7, 2009, in the City of Los Angeles. The incidents were investigated by the Los Angeles Police Department and prosecuted by the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office. The warrant was issued for a probation violation related to his conviction.”

If convicted in the D.C. assault case, Brown could face up to 4 years in prison. We’ll keep you posted as more details arise.
