Mike Martin has been in good spirits, lately, after his son passed away a couple months ago.

While his spirit seemed high, when being interviewed by WCPO’s John Popovich, the former Cincinnati Bengal explained on TV that the pain of losing his son is still there. He said:

“The pain doesn’t disappear. Honestly, I don’t know if it ever will. It’s funny, though, that every time I look up in the sky, I can see him smiling, and he’s telling me ‘I’m good, go on with your day today. I’m having a good day, you have a good day’”.
