A Cincinnati woman was granted a “Christmas Wish” by Tom Joyner this morning.
Gabrielle Belser wrote to Tom, hoping that he could provide her family new winter outerwear.She was really hoping her mother could receive new business clothing,because she’s transitioning to a new position at her workplace.
She explained that the boiler, in her mother’s home, exploded and ruined her family’s clothes and possessions. She told Tom:
HER BASEMENT LOOKS LIKE A CHARRED BOMB SITE IN BAGHDAD. THE FURNACE WAS VERY OLD AND RELEASED ASBESTOS EVERYWHERE. WHEN MY FAMILY WAS ALLOWED TO RE-ENTER THE HOUSE, WE LEARNED THAT EVERYTHING IN THE BASEMENT WOULD HAVE TO BE THROWN OUT.
TOM, MY MOM IS THE ROCK OF OUR FAMILY. SHE SELFLESSLY TAKES CARE OF EVERYONE ELSE AND NEVER THINKS ABOUT HERSELF. SHE HAS WORKED HARD FOR THIS PROMOTION, AND JUST NEEDS A LITTLE HELP WITH DRESSING FOR SUCCESS. WE WOULD ALSO BE GRATEFUL IF YOU COULD GRANT THE GIFT OF WARMTH FOR MY FAMILY WITH NEW WINTER OUTERWEAR.
