Chris Rock’s estranged wife, Malaak Compton-Rock, wants a big chunk of her soon to be ex’s $70 million fortune, according to Page Six. Compton-Rock wants to continue living the lavish lifestyle that she has become accustomed to, and if the judge agrees, then Chris Rock is going to have to come up off that dough.

Malaak Compton-Rock met Chris in 1996 at the Essence Awards while she was working in Public Relations. According to court documents, she gave up her career to become a full-time stay at home mom, and still spends a lot of her time taking care of the couple’s two daughters, Lola Simone, 13, and Zahra Savannah, 11.

Their prenup has expired under a sunset clause, which means they are probably in for a fierce battle over the family’s eight figure bank account. The couple has agreed to a 50-50 split in child custody, so that’s good news, but that’s about it.

Chris Rock stated in a recent interview that the split left him feeling “sad outta your f- -king mind.”

Aaaaw, woo woo woo.

Seriously, this makes everyone else sad out of their effing minds, so we can only imagine the emotional toll this must take on the parties involved. They really seemed like the couple that would make it to the finish line.
