The Cincinnati Fire Department has named its first african-american woman to the rank of lieutenant.
Silver bars were pinned on Falencia Frazier, on Monday, who has been a 15-year veteran of the CFD.
She will serve as a traveling lieutenant in district four, and will spend her tour as a first line supervisor of ladder company 31 in Oakley.
