Local Teen Crowned Ohio State Champion Bull Rider – Headed to Nationals
Lebanon, OH – Big congratulations are in order for Lebanon High School freshman Henry Pinnick, who has just earned the title of Ohio State Champion Bull Rider. This hard-earned honor comes with an even bigger opportunity: a trip to Rock Springs, Wyoming, where Henry will represent Ohio at the National High School Finals Rodeo (NHSFR).
At just 14 years old, Henry has shown a level of grit, determination, and talent that sets him apart in one of the most challenging and dangerous rodeo events. He’ll be competing alongside the best of the best — contestants from 44 states, Canada, Mexico, Australia, and New Zealand — as part of the Ohio National High School Rodeo Team.
The NHSFR is widely regarded as the pinnacle of high school rodeo competition, drawing thousands of fans and top-level competitors each year. For Henry, it’s a chance to showcase his skill on a national (and international) stage, while proudly representing his hometown and his state.
As Lebanon continues to cheer Henry on from home, we’ll be following his journey and wishing him the best in Rock Springs. Stay tuned for updates on his performance and more behind-the-scenes from this incredible experience.
Go Henry! Go Ohio!
