Jennifer Lopez may find herself in the middle of a sex tape scandal, according to the UK’s Mirror. Lopez’s ex and first husband, Ojani Noa, allegedly wants to release the home-made sex tapes the two made while married.
The Mirror reports that the business partner of Noa has allegedly made claims that the tapes will soon be unveiled. The court battle to protect Lopez’s privacy against the wishes of Noa who seeks to release the tapes, and in the process, likely humiliate Lopez, has been ongoing for the last six years.
Citing In Touch magazine, Mirror repors that the Noa and Ed Mayer, Noa’s business partner, have found a legal loophole while Lopez allegedly withdrew her claims when the case was in arbitration.
In what is probably only a spiteful action, motivated at least in part by money and getting back at Lopez, Mayer is claiming to be set to produce a DVD as well as have a streaming release of the footage.
Lopez was married to Noa in 1997 for eleven months before the couple split. Apparently someone has a hard time letting things go. Hopefully, the court will protect J.Lo’s privacy because this could set a dangerous precedent.
