Roland Martin talks to Texas city councilman Jonathan Miller after being arrested and tasered when he intervened as officers questioned his friends outside his apartment.
“We had just got back form a community service project. We showed up to my house. There was about four of us. I was in the house watching the game. They were outside changing their shoes. Cops showed up. She had already started ID’d them by the time I got outside. I ask what the issue was. She starts explaining that it was drug activity going on in the area,” Miller said.
Were these the same cops involved in the Sandra Bland case?
“Officer Goody was the one that took Sandra Bland in.”
