A local firefighter is dead after trying to put out a house fire.
A firefighter from the Hamilton Ohio department was killed, after falling through the first floor to the basement of the Pater Avenue home. He was transported to the Fort Hamilton Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The firefighter has not been identified yet, and more details are to be released later today.
