The number of Coronavirus cases in Ohio are growing. The Ohio Department of Health officials confirm dozens of new cases, Sunday, bringing the state’s total to more than 1600, with 29 deaths. The surge is expected to continue into next month, according to health department director Amy Acton.

The Springdale Police officer killed in the line of duty will be laid to rest on Sunday, according to WLWT. 33 year-old Kaia Grant was killed on I-275 over the weekend on a police chase. There will be a police procession, and a private serivce inside a church, in compliance with the governor’s orders.

Charges are pending against two teenagers, who are accused of trying to rob an Evanston convenience store. WLWT reports that teens tried to hold up Sam’s Corner Grocery on Woodburn Avenue, yesterday. The clerk pulled out a gun and fired one shot to scare the suspects away. A third teenage suspect eluded police.

A man is expected to survive after being shot in Camp Washington. WLWT reports that the man was wounded, Monday, when people were starting to shoot between cars in the area of Hopple Street and Colerain Avenue. No arrests have been made yet.
