Mariah Carey is in the process of shooting a reality series about the behind-the-scenes drama of her Las Vegas residency, “Mariah #1 to Infinity,” an cameras will also tag along on her two-month European tour this spring, reports Us Weekly.
“Mariah’s excited to show some personal family moments,” says the source. “It’ll definitely show another side to her.”
“Her manager is a reality TV producer and got her the deal,” says a second source.
So far, no word on a network or airdate, but the title she’s reportedly floating around is “Mariah’s Squad.”
“The show is also about Mariah and the crew around her,” adds a third insider. “It’s nuts. Mariah is very funny on camera.”
Cameras have already followed her to the Elton John AIDS Foundation Oscars Party on February 28. (A witness at the West Hollywood event said at the time “it appeared as if Mariah brought her own camera crew. She kept checking to make sure her team got the shots they needed. She was the only guest with a personal crew!”)
