Lil Mo’s ex-husband has found himself in trouble with the law.
According to reports, Augustus Stone was arrested for manufacturing a marijuana growing operation inside his Maryland home. Police were tipped off about the illegal activity after neighbors reported a strong smell.
At the time of his arrest, athoritites found 158 marijuana plants, equivalent to the street value of $127,000.

“They believe this individual was manufacturing marijuana, distributing marijuana for two to three months out of the home,” a spokesperson from the Anne Arundel County police said. “The tip set off the investigation from an observant citizen, just the amount of traffic coming and going.”
One neighbor added that Stone lived next to a daycare. “Kids walk past the house to go to the bus stop. It’s right there. My kids are here all day. They really could have, unfortunately, ran into that,” the source said.
The R&B songstress and Stone were married from 2001 to 2005. Their union produced two children, 11-year-old Heaven and 8-year-old God’Iss.
If convicted, he could face up to 16 years in prison.
