This season of “Love & Hip Hop: New York” introduced fans to a new love triangle, and it was surprising equal, if not more, juicy than the Steve J-Mimi-Joseline situation from the Atlanta cast.
In typical Mona Scott-Young fashion, she was able to recreate reality TV gold and tell a new story of a producer who cheats on his main lady with an “artist” in the studio.
(Just in case you’ve been out of the loop, producer Peter Gunz is like ATL’s Stevie J. He was living with his girlfriend Tara and their two young boys, but he went behind his family’s back and married his mistress/side chick/artist Amina Buddafly.)
MiMi Faust, who was the at the center of the drama in previous seasons, recently told The Jasmine Brand that she could feel Tara’s pain.
“Like really Peter, you’re gonna do that?” MiMi questioned. “I know it’s a little bit like my situation but that goes on everyday in every state. It’s not just me and him [Stevie], Peter doing what he’s doing. It is very entertaining, my heart goes out to Tara, I feel your pain.”
“It’s insane. It’s very entertaining, I cannot lie,” she added. “Every Monday, I’m like, ‘What the f**k are they about to do next.”
In addition to sympathizing with Tara, MiMi said she plans to pen her first book in the new year.
“It will be about dating a man in the industry,” she revealed. “It will also have short stories from different women. It won’t be about just me, I will incorporate other people I know. All stories of other women that have had similar experiences in their life too.”
