The remnants of Hurricane Helene are bringing strong winds and heavy rain to northern Kentucky, leading to the cancellation and rescheduling of several high school football games originally set for Friday night. The highly anticipated matchup between Cooper and Highlands has been canceled, with no rescheduled date announced at this time.

Other games, including Clermont Northeastern vs. Blanchester and Walton Verona vs. Bracken County, have been postponed to Saturday to accommodate the weather conditions.

The Tri-State area is currently under a High Wind Warning, with sustained winds expected to reach 20-30 mph and gusts potentially hitting up to 60 mph. Additionally, rain from Helene is projected to continue through the weekend, with total accumulations of 2-3 inches anticipated in the area.

Fans and families are encouraged to stay safe and check for updates from their local schools regarding any further changes to game schedules.
