Weird Al 2

This is one of a slew of new parody releases coming up online with the first being “Tacky,” which is a take on Pharrell Williams’ hit song “Happy.”

(PIX11) — “Weird Al” Yankovic released his newest parody Tuesday, this time targeting Robin Thicke and his “Blurred Lines.”

“Word Crimes” cleverly  covers the common grammatical mistakes that drive the Yankovic crazy — the words neatly replacing Thicke’s overtly sexual lyrics.

Weird Al has been making headlines since the 80s with his genius parodies of hit songs.

He made a name for himself parodying songs like “I love Rock ‘n’ Roll,” “Beat it,” “Smells like Teen Spirit,” and “Born this Way.”
