A Mt. Airy man is in the Hamilton County Jail on $250,000 bond, accused of beating the two year-old son of his girlfriend.
28 year-old Michael Sommers allegedly caused a broken eye-socket on the attack Tuesday.
Police say Sommers was baby sitting in an apartment on High Forrest Lane when the child was hurt.
