Raheem DeVaughn may not get the screams of say, a Trey Songz, but he’s got a dedicated following nonetheless. The Washington, D.C. based singer’s latest release “A Place Called Loveland” is out on September 3, but first DeVaughn stopped by the 2013 Allstate Family Reunion at the Gaylord Resort in Orlando, Florida. DeVaughn’s current single “Ridiculous” reunites him with Ne-Yo, who wrote “I Don’t Care” for him on his 2010 release “The Love and War MasterPeace.”
“I think Ne-Yo’s songwriting ability is a blessing to R&B music,” DeVaughn says. “Ridiculous” is a beautiful love song that speaks for the brother’s who don’t know how to express their emotions into words. I think it will be one of those records that you’ll hear forever.”
