One of the longest running groups in the history of popular music is coming out with a new collection Friday. The Isley Brothers are releasing a 21-CD box set that chronicles their classic music from 1959 to 1983. The collection will include their well-known songs, like “Shout” from the 50s, “It’s Your Thing” from the 60s, “Fight the Power” from the 70s and their quiet-storm hits from the 80s. For the Isley Brothers collectors, the new compilation will also include lots of rare and previously unreleased recordings from that era.
