If history has a way of repeating itself, the Tuesday Night Flashback just might give us a glimpse into the future. Each Tuesday we like to take you down memory lane and tonight the year is 1992.

A lot happened in 92′ that shaped our culture as we know it today. Before there was video footage of police officers assaulting Freddie Gray, Eric Garner or Laquan McDonald, there was a video that sparked days of rioting in the city of Los Angeles. Four officers indicted on charges from the beating were all acquitted of assault on April 29, 1992 despite the video clearly showing otherwise.

In March of this year a mistrial was declared in the trial of an officer accused in the death of Freddie Gray. Nothing is new with America’s justice system. In November of 92′ Bill Clinton won the oval and this November his wife Hillary Clinton is looking to make them the first family once again.

During the 1992 34th Annual Grammy Awards, dearly departed Natalie Cole took home two Grammy’s in the ‘Record of The Year‘ and ‘Album of The Year‘ categories for the album “Unforgettable.” Natalie Cole passed away on the eve of 2016 at the age of 65. Here’s a video from her performance on that night of the Grammy’s…it’s all #LoveAndRnB!
