Rod Temperton, the songwriter known for writing some of Michael Jackson’s hit songs, has passed away.
BBC News reports that the British composer and musician died in London, last week, following a “brief aggressive battle with cancer”. He was 68.
Temperton was known for writing some of Jackson’s hits, like “Thriller”, “Rock With You”, and “Off the Wall”. He was also the keyboardist and songwriter for the band Heatwave which had hits like “Boogie Nights” (seen above) and “Always and Forever”.
