‘The Braxtons’: Review: An Emotionally Raw New Chapter
The Braxtons are returning to WeTV on Friday (August 9) with a new season following the death of Traci Braxton.
Their previous show, Braxton Family Values, followed Traci, Tamar, Trina, Towanda, Evelyn “Ms. E,” and Toni Braxton as they navigated their
personal and professional lives.
For the new season, the women deal with the grief and depression following Traci’s death from cancer.
According to Collider.com, “the new season doesn’t give new viewers the backstory or an explanation of the last four years since they’ve left
television. The outlet said the sadness is stretched over multiple episodes, but it could’ve given the same message with a one-off special.”
