Cincinnati Police say the death of an East Price Hill man is an apparent case of what is described as “suicide by cop”.
37 year-old Christopher Mitchell allegedly pointed a gun to his head on Sunday, before pointing it at two officers who opened fire.
Police sergeant Robert Lind and officer Scott McManus are on administrative leave pending a review of the shooting.
