Cincinnati Police officers could be wearing body cameras as early as the beginning of next year.
While Cincinnati City Council’s law and public safety committee prefers that they’re deployed this December, councilman Chris Smitherman told WCPO that the process will take longer than expected.
The city has applied for federal grants to pay the cameras with, but there’s no word yet on when they’ll come through.
