Old student loan debt is a problem for many. Most probably can expect a derogatory mark on their credit report, phone calls from creditors, and possibly wage garnishments. One man found out the hard way the government wants their money “YESTERDAY!” Paul Aker’s federal students loan debt dates back to 1987. It took 29yrs but the piper is finally being paid. After the US Marshals showed up to arrest Paul at his home for allegedly having unpaid loans in the amount of $1500.
