Local church and community members are organizing a set of gun buyback programs.

In a press conference to local media, church and community members are stressing the importance of these programs to help keep guns from falling into the hands of someone with the intent to kill.

The first event takes place tomorrow, at the Third Presbyterian Church on McHenry Avenue in Westwood. People who turn in guns will receive gift cards to stores.
