Can smelling like weed get you kicked out of school? The answer is ummm, YES!!! Jakayla’s mother, Tameka Johnson, couldn’t believe it. “I said not my child. You have the wrong child, because I know my child,” she told KSNT-TV. A 15yr old was apparently singled out after someone said they smelled that sticky icky in the hall at Wake County high school. Although Jakayla was simply in class and mining her own business, she was led to the principal’s office and suspended. According to school officials her hands reeked of cannabis. Therefore she had to partake and in subsequently got booted from school for a few days.
Jakayla’s mother believed her daughter was innocent and went as far as getting her tested. The drug test came back “clean” yet Jakayla’s suspension stands. Click here for the complete story.
