Ahead Of The Olympics, Simone Biles Shares A Message About Her Hair: ‘I Don’t Really Care If My Edges Aren’t Smooth’
Simone Biles, 27, posted multiple Instagram Stories on Monday (July 22) showing images from Paris’ Olympic Village.
She snapped a photo of her room with teammate Jade Carey, including their “cardboard” beds. Another photo showed the US women’s gymnastics team in Ralph Lauren
tracksuits. Biles also inspected the gymnastics arena.
Biles’ final photo on Monday was a selfie with teammate Jordan Chiles, her hair in a sloppy ponytail and flyaway hairs around her face.
Biles toldElle Magazine that she’s come a long way in her hair journey. “I don’t really care if my edges aren’t smooth,” she said. “I used to worry about [my hair being
considered] not professional. But I’m not embarrassed about it anymore.”
