Cincinnati City Council is considering an ordinance that would allow Marijuana offenders to erase that crime from their record.
Councilman Charlie Winburn is pushing for this ordinance to be passed. He believes this could help offenders get jobs, housing, and better education if they can get this expunged from their record.
The Marijuana law, that was passed in 2006, penalizes first-time offenders with fines, jail time, and a misdemeanor on their record.
