Hillary Clinton has clinched the amount of delegates needed to become the Democrat nominee for president.
She is the projected winner of the California, New Jersey, New Mexico, and South Dakota primary. Her opponent, Bernie Sanders, is the projected winner of Montana and North Dakota.
This is the first time in American history that a woman has clinched the presidential nomination from either the Republican or Democrat parties.
