Billy Hamilton was placed on concussion protocol, after he was hit in the face by a fly ball.
During yesterday’s game, against the Chicago Cubs, the Reds center fielder almost ran into Adam Duvall when catching a fly ball hit from Anthony Rizzo. Instead, the ball hit Hamilton in his face.
Rizzo ended up having an inside the park home run, which helped the Cubs beat the Reds 9-2. There’s no word on when Billy Hamilton will be back in the lineup.
