Cincinnati was on fire this weekend, and not just because of the Cincinnati Music Festival.
Rapper Ice Cube decided to cash in on one of the city’s most profitable weekend’s by bringing his newest basketball league, BIG3, to the Heritage Bank Center July 28th.
Basketball fans got to watch NBA legends and international superstars go toe-to-toe for six games.
About BIG3 Basketball
BIG3 is a 3-on-3 basketball league founded by rapper/actor Ice Cube and entertainment executive Jeff Kwatinetz. It features 12 teams with former NBA and international players and legendary coaches. BIG3 games have unique rules, known as “FIREBALL3“, differing from traditional 3-on-3 basketball. The league has three four-point zones and a pregame 4-point shootout to determine first possession.
Ice Cube, considering it one of his greatest achievements, plans to expand the league and recently offered Caitlin Clark a $5 million contract, calling her a “generational athlete.”
